This is not a Twitter tweet, but a nature tweet. This little nest is tucked under my lavender plant in the front garden. See the mama bird?
The nest has four tiny blue eggs with brown speckles. The nest is made of dried grass and lines with Barkley's fur! Mama must have been scrounging nesting material from our back yard.
Hmm, I wonder why the mama bird chose the ground over the lovely bird house. Maybe she's just a nature chick at heart.
