Dragonfly on a garden post. This one stayed around for almost an hour, basking in the sun.

The daily haul from the garden: lemon balm, mint, lettuce, tomatoe, onion, chives, and strawberries. We're also getting a few black currants each day.

Goals of the Suburban Farm project
1. Eat seasonally, locally, sustainably, and organically.
2. Grow more of our own food.
3. Increase community, decrease our consumerism.
4. Live and play simply and locally.
5. Eat vegetarian 3-4 times per week.
6. Buy only what we need or truly love.
7. Make less trash.
8. Repurpose reusables. Do more with less.
9. Whenever possible buy used, good for the environment and the bank account.
10. Remake: take old, unwanted, or worn items and remake into something desired.
