It's not an April Fool's Joke!

It's not an April Fool's Joke!
The SNOW again!
Today, the temp went from 40 degrees at 8 am
to 34 degrees at 10 am and then the rain turned to SNOW!
My garden plants began to shiver.
We ran out with covers for the chard, kale, and peas
and brought the lettuces indoors.
Two hours later, it had warmed back up to 40 degrees
and out we went again to uncover the veggies.
Ah, spring gardening in the Northwest,
always an adventure!

In other news, Anni and I baked lemon poppyseed teabread
using a combination of regular and Meyer's lemons from our CSA box.
It was delicious!

Alex had his theatre class,
and Ari started her new quarter at college.
This quarter, she's taking another anthropology class
with her favorite professor and an environmental science class.
