It's been a few days since our last post. Ari and I took a road trip with the other members of our writing group. On the way over to Steven's Pass we encountered a Washington celebrity near Index.

Funny Farmers
Goals of the Suburban Farm project
1. Eat seasonally, locally, sustainably, and organically.
2. Grow more of our own food.
3. Increase community, decrease our consumerism.
4. Live and play simply and locally.
5. Eat vegetarian 3-4 times per week.
6. Buy only what we need or truly love.
7. Make less trash.
8. Repurpose reusables. Do more with less.
9. Whenever possible buy used, good for the environment and the bank account.
10. Remake: take old, unwanted, or worn items and remake into something desired.
